The McGehee Hiatus Is Over (Apparently)
Kevin McGehee at the The McGehee Zone, fellow Swamp Stomper, had taken a bit of a sabatical for several weeks, complaining of “running dry”, and resorting to just posting once a week for a while.
That appears to be over. Here’s my comment today on a piece he posted yesterday:
I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but this posting marked seven consecutive days of posting for the man who once said he was burned out on blogging! I think that constitutes the end of the so-called hiatus. Welcome back to the land of verbose, my friend!
Kevin is a sharp dude, a great writer of fiction from what I’ve been watching this summer, and a quick political wit.
Welcome back, man!

“…a great writer of fiction…”
You’re only saying that because it’s true.

Damn right.
Art is if nothing else, a straight shooter.
