I finally broke down (after having purchased an iPod for my wife earlier this year) and bought my own iPod last week… and no I didn’t buy the iPhone, but yes I did buy the Touch (iPhone without the phone). I like it, it works great (except Safari tends to crash quite a bit), and I can’t wait for Steve Jobs to drop the price so that even I can complain and get my entitlement. 
I doubt that I will be blogging from the iPod (technically, I can, but typing is NOT fun on it), but at least I can listen to my favorite tunes and books.
Speaking of books, I’m currently reading “Banker to the Poor: Micro-Lending and the Battle Against World Poverty”, the story of Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of Gremeen Bank, and his work introducing Micro-lending to third-world countries as a tool to fighting poverty (as the title implies). I’m 1/3 of the way through (on audio, from Audible.com), and am finding it quite fascinating. Those of you that recognize my interest in Kiva.org will understand my interest in this (see previous article).
